Med school barriers
A recent report shows that medical schools “systematically exclude” qualified students with disabilities from their admission process. This is despite the fact that they have the qualifications. In addition, it’s been proven that patients benefit from having doctors who live with disabilities on their healthcare team. Recommendations for removing barriers are in the works.

Good health, and sex
More people over 65 are said to be engaging in sexual activity. Sounds like fun, but sex is also a verified longevity enhancer. A study published in the British Journal of Medicine tracked 1,000 45-to 59-year-old Welsh men for ten years. The researchers found that men and women who experience frequent orgasms had lowered rates of heart disease and other mortality risks. Sex saves lives.
