Join Us In Making The Leap!

Join the Canadian Abilities Foundation in helping two great disability organizations “Make the Leap” to the next level!

CAF asks you to get the word out to your social network about StopGap and Canada Cares. StopGap helps make communities more accessible with colourful ramps and school education programs. Canada Cares helps ensure that people of all ages with disabilities receive better support from family and professional caregivers.

This is a 60-day campaign to help CAF raise $30,000 for each of these worthy projects.

  • StopGap will use the money to get six local schools involved in making and installing ramps to improve mobility in their communities,.
  • Canada Cares will use the money to renovate the bathrooms of six families of children and seniors with disabilities, to make them accessible and safe.

Donate today, and pass the word on to your social network through Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Or become a team leader and encourage others to support your fundraising efforts.

About CAF

The Canadian Abilities Foundation is a registered Canadian charity working for inclusion and opportunities for people with disabilities. Founded in 1986, CAF has been a national leader and a strong partner to other disability organizations and governments at every level. Over the years, CAF has led many projects related to disability, awareness, advocacy, education and communications.

CAF publishes Abilities, Canada’s Lifestyle Magazine for people with disabilities, with a readership of over 100,000 Canadians. We also organize the annual Canada Cares Awards to recognize family and professional caregivers from coast to coast. We support individuals through our Canada Cares and Make Me Smile programs, and we administer the TD Bank Internship program for youth with disabilities.

CAF is connected with over 500,000 Canadians online through abilities.ca and our Facebook community. In concert with our media partners, we link people with disabilities together. Our mission is to provide inspiration, information and opportunity to people with disabilities and their families.
